It is a great one Joe. I check out the albums on Amazon and go to http://www.mp3raid.com/ and download the songs for free and burn them to a cd.
Get more music too. I'm also a BIG Les Baxter fan. I have an album I put together of his music named Saturday Night On Saturn. One song is named Moon moods. Sometimes he is known as Les Baxter and his orchestra.
go to the mp3 section at Amazon.com and type in Les Baxter.
Ok NOW I'm heading out! I was checking some objects before I went out from a newsletter and saw the comments.
I LOVE THE OLDIES! My parents listened to the oldies such as above. I love the oldies like Sinatra, Doris Day, all those people. I can still see my dad's old Nat king Cole albums and Duke Ellington's too. While my mom was and is a Johnny Mathis music player.
Love seeing the look on my dads face watching the doo wop shows and my parents stories are ..well I love their stories of the 50's music in their life back then.
I (we, I'm sure) have really missed your blog. Worried about you. Really glad to see you're back. I have moved from Spit Bucket, Arkansas to St. Louis, Mo. since you've been gone and the sky here is virtually non-existent so your blog is much needed. I can barely see only the brightest alpha stars here. I'll be visiting daily. Welcome back.
Ritchie! You nut! What do you play?? Laurence Welk waltzes? As he is putting his telescope way he probably sings the ending song ' good night sleep tight ' song on l.w show too it. Tee hee!
